As Tiga Information Technologies Inc., we attended “Expo Turkey by Qatar” fair on 17-19th January 2018 in Doha, which was held to imporve the diplomatic relations between Turkey and Qatar with the participation of various sectors such as, Health, Food, Construction and etc..
On the first day of the expo, the Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey Mr. Bulent Tufenkci, the President of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Turkish-Qatari delegation visited our booth and informed about our projects. In these 3 days, we welcomed both our existing contacts, professors, from Qatar University and new contacts from government and private sector, who were interested in Healthcare IT. We gave detailed briefings to the authorities who were in to especially Pharmaceutical Track&Trace System, National Healtcare System and CLOSER. On 20th January, we visited the newly built Qatar Armed Forces Hospital with the authorities that we met and negotiated during the expo and gathered important information about their needs. As a result of those negotiations during the expo, we agreed mutally to begin works for collaboration betwen Turkey and Qatar.
