The Pharmaceutical Track & Trace System
For the first time in the world, the Pharmaceutical Track & Trace System, which is developed by TİGA Information Technologies Inc., is applied to the Ministry of Health has enabled the opportunity to monitor and control all the processes from the production/import phase until it reaches to the patient.
The system was compared by PwC with 20 countries implementing different solutions in this area and Pharmaceutical track & trace System was reported as “Best Practice”. The amount of savings provided by the system, which is followed by 100 million movements per day, is over 1 billion TL annually according to the Ministry of Health of Turkey’s 2010 data. Pharmaceutical track & trace System was awarded the WSIS Championship award by United Nations in the top 5 e-health categories in the context of WSIS awards. TİGA is the developer of Pharmaceutical track & trace System Project, which has been serving since 2010, and has the Intellectual Property Rights.
National Health System Project
The National Health System Project (NHS), which is implemented for the Ministry of Health, collects and processes 100 million health data per day of 80 million citizens’, including patients, prescriptions, examinations, laboratory results and billing information, and is shared with the institutions within the authority. E-Pulse web and mobile application related to the project allows every citizen to see their own data and serves more than 4 million E-Pulse users.
Home Care System
Home Care System (EBASİS), which is a R&D project supported by TUBITAK and awarded by EU Commission H2020 over-the-top award, is carried out under the consultancy of Ergotherapy Department of Hacettepe University and this project analyzes of the daily activities of the patients who are in need of elderly or physical therapy. The virtual rehabilitation can be performed in the system under the supervision of the specialist physicians/doctors. The pulse can be measured and the movement can be done through the depth sensor without the need of any attachable device. In case of emergency such as; when a patient falls and there is zero movement or extreme slowdown in the pulse the system informs the closest healthcare organization or a relative of the patient, so it is aimed to provide safe time to elderly people at their home.
