Türkiye’s Pharmaceutical Track & Trace System Received the UN WSIS e-Health Champion Project Award!

The Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System (ITS), developed by Tiga Healthcare Technologies, was recognized as the ‘Champion e-Health Project’ at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) 2016 organized by the United Nations. ITS ranked among the projects receiving the highest votes and best reviews by the WSIS Expert Group. This prestigious WSIS Award reflects Tiga Healthcare Technologies’ success in supporting the development of the information society and providing digital infrastructures for health authorities. We are proud to share this remarkable achievement. 

ITS tracks all drug units in Türkiye, providing end-to-end visibility for health authorities across the entire pharmaceutical supply chain from production and importation to the end consumer. This innovative solution prevents counterfeit drugs from entering the market, stops illegal drug trade and mitigates reimbursement fraud, thereby balancing costs.
